Exumas 2023
Fri. March 3- flew into Nassau, met Jill and family in airport, went to Atlantis marina. SB not the biggest boat in marina by far.
Sat.- Kids all day at Atlantis.
Sun.- Warderick Wells in Northern Exumas. Perfect flat right off the dock but no bonefish found. Snorkel lessons and picnic on a sandbar with Ad Lib.
Mon. Mar 6- anchored out in the park. Snorkeling, paddling and kayaking. Fed the iguanas on the beach.
Tues- Compass Cay at dock- Beach, snorkel, boards, and kayak. Graham got his first bonefish. And one more.
Wed.- Compass Cay- swim with the sharks and bonefish, ave, bubble bath, snorkel, paint driftwood. I got 3 bones then another one in late afternoon tailing-wonderful.
Thurs Mar 9- Guana Cay at anchor. Swimming pigs, Thunderball cave, lunch at Staniel Cay Yacht Club, long game of spades.
Fri Rudder Cut Cay at anchor- David Copperfield's piano under water, more snorkeling, conchs.
Sat Emerald Bay at NW end of Great Exuma, at dock but very rocky, taut lines then lax. Beautiful beach. Resort wanted too much $ to use pool or even to use a chair on the beach. Graham caught his third bonefish on a great flat with some tailing fish.
