Jan 18- JEM, DBM and us for the first few days. Long wait for bags in KW.
Jan 19- Audubon House, where JJA never lived.
J 20- Fishing off the wrecks or humps- yellowtail, red grouper, cero mackeral, chubs behind chum bag. Saw a tiny Portugese MOW.
J 21- Tenn. Wms house, where he never lived. Inspired me to want to watch a few of his many plays. Then Lobster Shack for lunch and the Butterfly Garden. At dinner we had many good laughs over the 103 best or worst C&W song titles.
J 22- Went to the Marquesas in the Ad Lib for some kayaking and some wreck fishing. 3 new species on Tenkara. J&D had to leave.
J 23- I went to the Little White House for a dose of HST lore. G, G, and Little B flight delayed. Had to drive down from FLL.
J 24- Long cruise to the Glades. Reading a creepy book Killing Mr. Watson about the same area of the Glades in late 1800s- early 1900s. We went upstream a couple of miles cautiously to anchor. The tide seems to be about 5 mph.
J 25- Fishing with D and Brandon. Snook, ladyfish on Tenkara. G got a tarpon. Lots of birds early and late, to and from work.
J 26, 27, and 28- cold front, slow to no fishing. Paddle board, kayaks, sea kayak. Water varies from choc milk near Gulf to cafe au lait to tea to clear with a dark bottom. Gator and croc. I did catch a gar.
J 29- long travel day to Naples. BGG depart.
J 30- night ladyfish.
J 31- bike ride to old folks 5th Ave, happy hour 50% off 4-6.
F 1 fishing w/o results.
F 2 back to winter. Had to drive from CLT to RIC.
